Small Paintings In Oil
Nice work Tammy loose but direct I really like it!
very nice piece for the DSFDF
I'm blown away by this portrait! What an incredible job...just gorgeous! I have finished mine but want to start all over again after seeing this beauty. Can't believe you accomplished this amount of emotion and detail with a knife. Amazing.
Great painting,Tammy...did you use a palette knife on this? The strokes follow the form nicely, I like the crop too.
This is absolutely wonderful, Tammy - I love the paint application.
This is such a beautiful and striking portrait! Count me a fan!
Lovely painting Tammy. I really like the heavy limited palette paint...very fresh feel.
Thanks everyone, you are all very kind. Dana I did use a palette knife on this. I usually start out with brush to do a quick sketch and then proceed with the knife.
Fantastic job, Tammy. The texture adds so much to this portrait. You are a knife master.
I love your work Tammy ... good luck.Pat
Wow, Tammy, this is great. You really did do a wonderful job on the eyes and the expression. Love this thick paint and the way you used it to "model" the face.
The highlight above the eye grabs me and keeps me wanting to search the face - amazing portrait!
fantastic job!! Happy belated birthday!
This is a knockout painting. Makes me never want to paint anything 'tight' ever, ever again!
Hi Tammy, brilliant painting, I love your thick application of the paint combined with the great draughtsmanship of the face!..i'll keep an eye on your blog!
