This is my submission for the DSDF Portrait Challenge. I really tried to concentrate on the eyes in this painting and figuring out the structure of this fellow's face.
I'm blown away by this portrait! What an incredible job...just gorgeous! I have finished mine but want to start all over again after seeing this beauty. Can't believe you accomplished this amount of emotion and detail with a knife. Amazing.
Thanks everyone, you are all very kind. Dana I did use a palette knife on this. I usually start out with brush to do a quick sketch and then proceed with the knife.
