Palette Knife Portraits - Slideshow

Here is a slideshow of some of my recent palette knife portraits. The first and last portrait shown is of a friend - Haydain Neale of Jacksoul who passed away late last year. The music is by Jacksoul.

  1. Thanks Myra - your great movies inspired me to give it a try again - and this time I figured out how to add music! Now I just need to figure out how to get it on the right column of my blog, add some text and look out James Cameron I am a force to be reckoned with!

  3. Bravo, Tammy! I must try a slideshow myself. The work is superior. I love those soft hues you use and have great admiration for anyone who do use a knife or do a portrait. Don't know how you manage both!

  4. Oh my gosh, Tammy. This post, video, music brought tears to my eyes. I'd not heard of JackSoul before. I am going to follow that link and see if I can get a CD. And your portraits are fabulous and a perfect backdrop for highlighting that beautiful song.

  5. P. S. Tammy, could you tell me the album that includes this song? I really would like to order it. Thanks!

  6. Hey Tammy - this is cool. Aren't you the multi-media artist! : ) I like seeing the collection of images like that - and set to Haydain Neale's music - lovely. I didn't know you were friends - my sympathies. From all of the tributes I've heard for him, it sounds like he was a wonderful soul.

  7. Thanks everyone!
Autumn - The song is from the album 'Resurrected' by Jacksoul, I have all their albums and everyone is wonderful. They are up for a Juno award again this year for the last album they put out which is called 'Soulmate'.
Kim - Haydain and I went to the same university and he was such a great friend and inspiration. We lost touch after school, but every time I happened to run into him he had time to stop and talk and have a laugh. He was a good soul.
