This is one of my Uncle Rick's grandkids. I think it is Haley - but I am not sure. In the photo I took there were kids everywhere and there she was in the middle of all this activity in her own little world.
Solitude amidst the chaos; love it! What a fabulous beach painting, Tammy. I love your palette knife work. I am just so intrigued by the whole process! Always looking to see what you have next!
I can't believe you can capture so much detail and expression with a palette knife. Nice colours and shadow. (Are you longing for the return of summer?) I had to spend some time getting ready to apply to the Nathan phillips Square outdoor art show. I thought it was time to get out there and give it a try!
I too am puzzled by the amount of detail you can get with a palette knife. The figure is so delicate, you are showning great skill with your chosen tools.
Great painting and great composition Sandy.

ReplyDeleteNice painting Tammy, I really love the lemons!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work. I remember those days of being absorbed with the sand.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful.
